Supporting the Industry, Our Veterans and Our Communities.

We’ve been in the trucking industry for a long time and we’re thankful for all the partnerships we have made over the years. So, we believe in giving back, supporting organizations like the UTA, NTDA and more because partnerships and relationships are important in our business.

We also have very strong feelings for our military veterans. There are over one million veterans of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard who work in the trucking industry, and we’re proud to have employees who served as well.

We also believe in giving back to the communities where we live, participating in several events and programs that support those in need and charitable causes our team holds close to their hearts.

We Value Our Veterans

Sept – Nov 2019; Sept – Nov 2020

The program began last year on Sept. 11 when any veterans who bought an NTP or Premium 2000+ warranty during that time period was given a $100 gift card and automatically entered into a drawing to give away three cash prizes totaling $5,000.

“Supporting our military veterans is near and dear to our hearts, which is why we started the ‘Value Our Veterans’ program,” says Wade Bontrager, CEO, National Truck Protection Co. Inc.

“We have employees who have served in the Army, Marines, Navy and Reserves. As an Army veteran myself, I know firsthand the challenges of transitioning back to civilian life after years of serving our country. So, our participation in the Run Ranger Run event can help proud vets who are uniquely qualified and have terrific work ethics to have rewarding careers in our great trucking industry.”

Run Ranger Run

Feb 2020

During the entire month of February, Wade Bontrager, Army veteran and CEO of National Truck Protection Co Inc, and Tim Ronan, Chief Marketing Officer, participated in Run Ranger Run, a fund-raiser that assists military veterans to assimilate back into civilian life when they return from active duty. Wade and Tim ran and walked 163 miles with Wade breaking 100 miles! They raised $10,901, which placed their two-man effort the #5 highest fund-raisers and Wade the #3 highest individual fund-raiser out of hundreds of teams and thousands of participants around the country. NTP and Premium 2000+ donated $3,000 in a “match” program as their first effort in 2020 to behind their “We Value Our Veterans” program supporting retired military veterans. Great job, and thanks to everyone who supported this terrific cause!

Samaritan Ministries

Sept 2019; Sept 2020

Samaritan Ministries holds its annual SAM & EGGS fund-raiser every year to raise money to support the cost of their Winston Salem food kitchen and men’s overnight facility. NTP participates as a table sponsor with employees all getting together to help this great community program.
